Look What I Found That Is Extremely Important For All Americans To Read:

“I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we’re at it, Highly “Inaccurate,” Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES, which cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is faster, and leaves NO DOUBT, at the end of the evening, as to who WON, and who LOST, the Election…..”

Sea Lions Are Cute And Oher Trivia

I like seals better than I like sea lions and I would dearly love to just pet one and tell it, “I love you.” Of course, I doubt they would make very good house pets so perhaps I am barking up some kind of strange tree.

I hate to read about people having to suffer from cancer of any kind and I am terribly disturbed by what I consider an inescapable reality; the reality (My opinion only) that there is never going to be a cure for cancer as long as cancer is a multi-billion-dollar-a-year enterprise. There may be a long string of “Make You Feel Better” measures invented and implemented, but I believe those are only for the very rich and are only temporary measures designed to make cancer patients come back for more— and to part with more of their money.

I find the idea of 3-D printers to be fascinating. I am waiting for the machine that will diagnose physical ailments with more precision than any doctor could ever imagine and that can propose treatments that will actually cure things rather than creating a scheme to lie to folks and to keep them coming back again and again just for the sake of charging them for office calls and other so called services.

I am praying for the day to come in America when the government is more interested in serving the American People than in working for its own interests. Is that too much to ask in this age of supposed enlightenment? Why are we still in the dark ages of human relationships? Why can not compassion and empathy play a bigger role in our day to day existence? America would be a great canvas for such a picture to be painted on.

I am waiting for the day when the now obsolete immigrant-magnet called the Statue of Liberty can be replaced by a giant statue of President Trump, aren’t you?

You want to know what bugs me these days? I will tell you: It is the way that Public Broadcasting on the radio seems to be filled with the most mundane, mind-blowingly boring crap imagineable and the way that they seem to be ignoring the meatier issues of the day– things like “The country is going to hell in a handbasket and nobody is talking about it. The irritating factor for me in all this is that the operators of the radio stations actually expect for listeners to chip in and pay for their stuff….wonderfully sugar-encrusted fare as “The Children’s Hour” on a Sunday morning….and I cannot seem to find a single program discussing the political mess that we are in ……maybe this is just me and my perception– who knows — but I believe that we are in a deep shit situation in America right now.

I get all these discussions about how the world we are living in today is a world filled the divisions and racism. So what the fuck is new about that? My grandfather who was born in 1878 and who died in 1955 lived in the exact same kind of world that we are living in today. It amazes me how nothing has changed all that much since my Grandfather’s day and the shit goes on and on and on— and nothing ever seems to change. Have I gone senile or something?

This is my latest Raw Art painting done in acylic on canvas — and this is almost 100% accurate as you see it here:

Hey — while you are wasting your time reading my crapola, I would love for you to go and take the time to read something really worth reading….and here is the link:

Now there is a blog really worth the reading.

Gotta go for now….see you later …if I live that long.

Saurday Evening 8/22/26

I cut up some fried bologna into my scrambled eggs and some sauteed chopped onion and rediscovered something that I had done so many years ago now it is hard for me to remember when– and it was delicious — just as I had remembered it.

I also discovered that a cheaper version of chipped beef over toast can be made by frying some thicker slices of bologna and cutting them into small bites and putting them into a thick white gravy made from cream of chicken soup, milk and salt and pepper. Cheap and good.

The weather here has been good today — not too hot, not too cold…no rain today–but the flowers in our expansive back acre are taking over the place along with the massive amounts of birds and butterflies and it all makes a person feel so damned good….almost hate to see Fall coming but it is in the air if you are sensitive enough to smell the subtle atmosphere changes that are taking place.

I found out today that our local Uber Cab company practices “Dynamic Pricing” which means that if you ride with them you get charged on a sliding scale that is paired to the demand for their services at any given time of the day. But I still prefer them to ordinary taxi companies because the local yokel cab company around here where I live are too damned independent and unreliable. They sometimes arrive late or not at all….some of their drivers take the longest possible route to destinations to soak customers for more money… I have had that happen to me a number of times so I know what I am talking about.

I have started painting again but this time around I have departed from my obsession with surrealism and am trying something called “Raw Art.” Raw Art is totally undisciplined and works primarily on the impulses of the artist who paints in strokes that are not planned but are spontaneous….like the following example that I recently completed:

THIS IS A FACSIMILE OF THE PAINTING I DID AND IS AI GENERATED AND IS NOT 100 PERCENT ACCURATE BUT GIVES THE ACCURATE GENERAL IMPRESSION OF WHAT I DID.

Do not ask me the title of this picture because I haven’t given it one yet. The medium is acrylic on canvas board and the size is 16″ x 20″ — and the price– well I haven’t decided on a price just yet but most of my work goes for $250.00 in this size and up. The frame which is purchased from a local hobby shop is the most expensive part of the project from my standpoint…not regarding the labor time. I am thinking that since this is the first one of this kind that I have done, it will probably not be for sale.

Well folks, it is time for this chicken to fly up to roost. That is what my Daddy used to say when it was time to go to bed, “Well, let’s go to roost.” He had been raised on a farm, which I think should be somewhat obvious.

Day’s End —

So it is now 10:51 pm and the ending of another beautiful day.

Had lasagna for dinner this evening and a tomato, cucumber and onion salad.

Stayed close to the house today — made one foray out to a local big box store to pick up a few grocery items.

Have discovered that I have developed a taste for tomato soup with basil. I love the stuff and we keep it in abundance.

Been checking out some depression dishes lately and discovered that way back in the 1930s, a lot of breakfasts included toasted bread (toast) that had bacon grease spread on it in the same manner that we spread butter on it in these times in which we now live. I think I am going to give that one a try.

Been sleeping better since my new medication and so far my heart rate has stayed steady in a normal ranger. Prayers ascending as always, trusting in the provision of The Lord.

We have had a lot of local flooding and a lot of road closures here where I live. Never saw such a rain as we had the other day. It caused a sink hole to open up in the Kroger super market parking lot. I do hope their building is stable because it is built on well bull-dozed land fill — (They leveled the piece of ground on which the store building stands). That is a Four-Million-Dollar store building and I would hate to see anything bad happen to it because it is pretty new.

I am happy to find that I can still buy extra large eggs at the grocery store for $1.99 per dozen.
