Lake America

It appears that the United States is now considering re-naming “Lake Ontario” as “Lake America.” I read that in a news report this morning.

I am still wondering when somebody is going to get the idea of dismantling the now-obsolete immigration-inviting Statue of Liberty.

I believe Niagara Falls should be renamed “The American Falls” and the Grand Canyon should become “The American Canyon.”

I believe that the president should have his own mountain named “Mount Trump” and that his likeness should be preserved forever on that mountain the same way all those other presidents of lesser stature are memorialized on Rushmore.

I am wondering why there isn’t a Trump Airlines …..and an enormous passenger liner plying the oceans of the world named “S.S. Trump.”

There needs to be a new American holiday called “President Trump Day” which would be a legal National holiday.

Every public space should have an image of the president on a banner, a statue, a mural or a photograph hanging from a visible space in every public building such as government buildings…post offices….school rooms ….etc. I remember a picture of George Washington hanging in our elementary school rooms when I was a child.

I mean to tell you that being president of The United States is the hardest and most demanding job in the world and the person who holds the office should be well memorialized in the public images…

And may I also remind everybody that there has never ever in the History of the Nation been a president like President Trump!

We should show due appreciation and respect.
